New Delhi: The merciless gang rape and subsequent death of a 23-year-old girl in Delhi has many guardians across the country protective about their girl child like never before. And just like any loving father, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar too has decided to devise his own ways to protect his new born daughter Nitara once she grows up rather than depending on governmental measures.
Talking to HT City, Akshay, who’s a black belt in Taekwondo, revealed that he plans to train his daughter in martial arts so that she can deal with any mishap. He also said that “self defense is essential for every woman.”
He supported his idea with the argument that when women are stronger than men emotionally and mentally, then why not make them physically stronger too.
We hope that Akshay’s message reaches out to as many guardians as possible.
