Mumbai: Family matters more than anything else for Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. Khiladi Kumar is busy these days with the shooting of ‘Patiala House’ in London. Interestingly, the actor shares screen space with mom-in-law Dimple Kapadia in the movie and sources reveal that Akki has planned out a grand family reunion treat for Dimple on her birthday, which falls on June 8. Twinkle, Rinke and kids will fly to London to celebrate the big occasion.
The actor and his mother-in-law’s bonding is famous in the tinsel town. Akki makes all effort not to miss these family get-togethers even if that means flying down from abroad. On her last b’day, Akshay threw a grand party at his bungalow in Juhu.
Speaking to news daily, a source said, "It`s going to be a big thing. Akshay has been planning Dimple`s party at one of London`s most expensive hotels down to the minutest details. Tina and he even plan to take Dimple to the biggest and best casino in London as one of the birthday gifts as Dimple loves gambling. That`s another thing that she and her son-in-law bond over."
Wife Tina and son Aarav will fly off this Friday for the big family reunion. Dimple`s mother and Simple`s son Karan are already there and Rinke who was in Mumbai for a summer vacation with her daughter Naomi has already left for London.
The plans are to spend a week or so in the British capital and then Dimple, Karan, Rinke and Naomi, with Akshay, Twinkle and Aarav would set off on a cruise to a place yet to be known.
