Mumbai: With the approaching New Year, the two warring biggies of Bollywood have finally called a truce. Sources confirm that Rishi Kapoor has patched up with Karan Johar following a spat over Sonam-Deepika’s catty comments on Ranbir in ‘Koffee With Karan’. And with this reconciliation, it’s also been revealed that Rishi’s back in KJo’s most anticipated project of 2011 – ‘Agneepath’ re-make. Earlier, Rishi walked out of the film owing to their much talked about clash.
According to the reports, Rishi is set to essay an important character in KJo’s remake of ‘Agneepath’. Earlier though, the actor was to play the main villain Kancha Cheena, which later on went to Sanjay Dutt, following the KJo-Rishi fallout.
However, as per a close source, it was revealed that during a recent police show, both Karan and Rishi met and sorted out their differences. Apparently, they hugged each other and made up.
The source said to a daily, “Now Rishiji is back in the film and the role will be one of the biggest highlights of the film.”
As of now, Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role of Dinanath Chouhan in ‘Agneepath’ remake. Let’s see now who gets to play his arch nemesis – Sanju or Chintu?
