Amitabh and Jaya are headed to France this summer

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan will bring in their thirty eighth marriage anniversary in picturesque France.

Mumbai: Legendary actors and Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan will celebrate their thirty eighth marriage anniversary in picturesque France. According to sources close to the couple, the power couple will have a quiet holiday in France for their anniversary. Speaking to a daily, the source said, "A few years ago Amitabh went to Paris and fell in love with the most romantic city in the world. He made a quiet promise to Jaya that come what may, every summer, on or before their wedding anniversary, he would take her for a short vacation to Paris and also the French countryside. When Amitabh makes a promise, he keeps it." So while son, Abhishek is busy shooting in Russia and bahu Aishwarya is walking the red carpet at the Cannes, the senior Bachchans will spend some quality time with each other in France. Jaya is expected to spend almost three weeks in France but Big B will fly out in mid-May and return to Mumbai in a week`s time for work. He is then likely to fly out again in the first week of June to be by Jaya`s side which is when the couple will celebrate their anniversary.
