New Delhi: Sachin Tendulkar retiring on his 200th test has created a wave of emotion from all and sundry, and B Town celebrities are no exception.

Amitabh Bachchan had told reporters, “"When I heard this news, I felt my heart beat has stopped... The heartbeat of Indian cricket has stopped. I don`t have words to praise him and his work. He played a phenomenal innings. He has excelled himself in the game he played and has become a symbol of great excellence for our country,"

It seems that Cricket Association of Bengal is reportedly calling Amitabh and Shah Rukh Khan to attend the match at Eden Gardens for the master blaster Tendulkar’s penultimate test. Bachchan and Khan are scheduled to attend Indian cinema’s centenary celebrations at Kolkata Film Festival on November 10. According to a leading daily, the Association wants the superstars to see off Sachin at the renowned grounds.

If the rumours are true then the city of joy vaasis will have a double treat – watching the maestro in action and watching the Shahenshah and Badshah of Bollywood cheering for team India.

City of joy is indeed going to be joyful.
