Amy Winehouse transformed by new boyfriend
London: Troubled star Amy Winehouse has been totally transformed for good by latest boyfriend filmmaker Reg Traviss, according to singer`s friends.
The `Back To Black` singer is said to have quit drinking, smoking and taking drugs in a bid to please the film director, a news website reported.
"She is totally transformed. I am so proud of her. She has stopped smoking completely. Reg has sorted her out. She drank Virgin Mary cocktails all night, not a single alcoholic drink," Winehouse`s friend Sam Shaker said.
The 25-year-old singer, who ended her reconciled relationship with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil to be with Traviss, is said to be even more focused on her music than ever thanks to her new-found happiness.
"She says she is the happiest she has ever been. He`s made a new person of her. He is a civilised man, a gentleman. She is so blissful and has turned herself around for him. She said she has new music coming out soon and she will be fit and healthy to promote it," she said.
It was claimed earlier this week that Traviss had told Winehouse to quit drinking or he would end their relationship.
"When she`s not on the bottle they get on brilliantly. But Reg has told her to quit the drinking, otherwise he`ll be off," a source said.
"She wants to keep him so has decided to make a huge effort to stay sober," he added.
