Washington: Angelina Jolie is reportedly furious at being mocked for her outrageous posing at the Academy Awards on Sunday night.
The 36-year-old actress looked ravishing in the black velvet Atelier Versace gown with a thigh-high slit she wore to the prestigious ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles but her strange pose of sticking out her right leg has been the subject of much ridicule.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, after ‘The Descendants’ writer Jim Rash mimicked her stance as he took to the stage to collect the Oscar for best adapted screenplay, Jolie was heard snapping ‘‘Who is that guy?’’
“She was still pretty steamed but seemed to calm down quickly,” Contactmusic quoted a source as saying.
The ‘Lara Croft’ star’s puzzling behaviour also resulted in a twitter page being set up, called AngiesRightLeg.
Tweets from the spoof account which has over 30,000 followers include “Great meeting most of you for the first time last night at the Oscars!!” and “Left leg and I talked - everything’s cool. Next Oscars, she gets the slit.”
