Hollywood legend Anthony Quinn’s son Francesco has passed away after a sudden heart attack at his home in Malibu, California, last week. He was 48.

An actor himself, Francesco was best remembered for his role as drug dealer Rhah in Oliver Stone````s Academy Award winning war epic Platoon. However, he also starred in popular series such as The Young and the Restless, NCIS, ER and 24. Francesco, who was divorced from his Irish American wife Julie McCann, the niece of late Belfast snooker champion Alex Higgins, was playing with his son Max when he had a heart attack on Friday, reports the Daily Mail. Paramedics called to his California home attempted to resuscitate the actor but he was pronounced dead. Francesco is survived by wife Valentina Castellani-Quinn and three children. His Oscar winner father died at 86 in 2001. ANI
