New Delhi: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is set to chair the jury panel of Craze, an online short film contest.
Tumbhi, a talent showcase platform for short filmmakers, photographers, actors, models, singers, music composers, writers, lyricists and scriptwriters, is the host for the contest.
It is open to short film makers worldwide. The entries will be reviewed and judged by a panel which will be chaired by Kashyap.
"Short film is an excellent way for filmmakers to prove their talent. It is easy to make a short film without over investing, it`s quick and it gives immense exposure and experience to the filmmaker," Robin Rastogi, head of operations, Tumbhi, said in a statement.
"The real challenge for the filmmakers is to get their film in front of hundreds of people. We aim to help such talented film makers by providing them a strong platform where they can not only showcase their talent, get in front of hundreds and thousands of people, but also get expert advice and guidance from an eminent panel, chaired by Anurag Kashyap", added Rastogi.
Other judges include ad filmmaker Prashant Godbole and writer-producer L.C. Singh.
The entry for the contest is free.
The winning entries will get a chance to be featured in the Tumbhi Short Film Festival, planned to be held in November.
