Mumbai: Life took a fairy-tale turn for Freida Pinto and Dev Patel after ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ happened to them. Soon after they fell in love and admitted to the world that they were dating. And now speculations are rife that the leading pair of the Oscar-winning film is getting ready to tie the knot this year. According to sources, the lovebirds were seen enquiring about a wedding cake at a bakery and making arrangements to fly it to India for their forthcoming wedding. The rumours began when they visited ‘Sweet Lady Jane’ bakery in Los Angeles, US. They were cozying up and excited about their future. An insider said to a news daily, “They had one of their first dates at the bakery, so it’s special to them. It’s more than a cake!” If sources are to be believed, the marriage will be a traditional one and a lavish affair. The young couple is yet to confirm the news of their ‘impending’ wedding this summer. But it seems that the couple is more concerned about their love rather than their careers as marriage may hamper their take off in Hollywood.
