New Delhi, Jan 22: Director Dipak Tijori, who is working on his next film with Arjun Rampal says he always knew the model turned actor had the potential to be the next big thing in Bollywood."I pursued Arjun for my thriller `Fox` even before the release of `Rock On`. I always knew he had great potential as an actor and is a great star material. He has now finally got his much deserved share of recognition," Tijori told reporters.
"Fox" is a co-production of Tijori films and Zee Motion Pictures. The film stars Sunny Deol, Arjun Rampal and Udita Goswami in the lead. Rampal plays the character of a criminal lawyer, who takes a sabbatical to escape work pressure but things go wrong and he is caught in a web of mystery. The film will be released in the last week of March. Rampal began his Bollywood career in 2001 but suffered through a string of flops. He recently got noticed for his powerpacked performances in films like "Om Shanti Om," "The Last Lear" and "Rock On." Tijori, who worked with some of the leading Bollywood actors like Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar in his heydays, debuted as director with "Oops," a controversial film on male strippers. He went on to direct films like "Fareb," "Tom, Dick and Harry" and "Khamosh." His directorial debut "Oops" was released in 2003 but failed to create an impact at the box office despite getting much attention for it`s risque nature. Bureau Report
