Mumbai: Bollywod actor Arjun Rampal and his wife-former supermodel Mehr Jesia arrived together to attend designer Monisha Jaisingh's show at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week despite their split rumours.

It was reported that the "Roy" star and Mehr are heading for divorce and are living separately.

The couple got themselves clicked before they headed to their seats in the front row. Sitting side-by-side all throughout the unveiling of Monisha's opulent collection "Riviera", the couple smiled, chatted and seemed to be enjoying their public outing.

Besides the two, the designer also invited several other star guests including Manish Malhotra, Amrita Arora, Madhu, Sophie Choudhry and Nita Ambani, who wore one of Monisha's winter-festive piece.

Monisha's inspiration was the bombshell Parisian siren Brigitte Bardot and she influenced the designer's modernised Riviera look of the 1960's and 1970's.

"The collection is called Riviera.. If you saw the sets it was like the streets of any Riviera in the world, be it Goa, Maldives, Rome, France. I have used a lot of Indian elements on leather,

Indian zardosi on leather. We have brought together lots of different elements and mixed them together to give a very whole feeling," Monisha said.

Stopping the show was supermodel model Ujjwala Raut who sashayed onto the ramp in a breathtaking sheer net crystal drenched, long sleeved gown.

"Thank you Monisha for putting me in this beautiful outfit. This is the outfit made for me. It is very important for everyone to feel best in what they are wearing and she is best in doing that. I love evening dresses and no one makes them like she does. I am very proud and honoured to be your showstopper because I know there are a lot of choices nowadays," Ujjwala said.

Opening the show with her trademark white mirror work swimwear, Monisha moved to a white corset sheath and jacket then onto her popular kurtis with various leather mirrorwork orange pants.

The three white long creations with metallic insets in strategic places had a Riviera goddess vibe. The final sand coloured trio comprised plunge neck mini, a kimono option and a cross over sensuous gown.
