Ash to make a comeback in Rajini’s film?
Mumbai: While the world is still marveling at the birth of Baby B, there is also a lot of speculation on Aishwarya Rai’s comeback film. The actress, who delivered a baby girl on November 16 has been resting at home and taking care of the baby.
There were reports that Ash’s first appearance post delivery would be in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film opposite Shah Rukh Khan. But the latest news is that, Ash may be making her first appearance post delivery in a Rajinikanth film. It is believed that the actress will be making a special appearance in the South superstar`s film ‘Kochadaiyaan’.
Though Rajini had made fun of his pairing with Aishwarya Rai earlier, there film ‘Robot’ had done pretty well at the Box Office. And now Rajini is keen to have Ash on board for his next film even if it is for a cameo.
Speaking to a daily, a source revealed, “There was a lot of back and forth on what project Rajnikanth would be working on, post his illness. But now he has already started work on his daughter Soundarya’s film ‘Kochadaiyaan’. Though the leading lady for the film is yet to be finalised, it was decided from the very beginning that they would request Aishwarya to do a special appearance.”
Interestingly, the Bachchans and Rajinikanth’s family are known to be friends and Ash might just even consider the offer. As offers pour in for the new mother, it may be difficult for her to devote so much time to a film and a cameo would be just perfect for her at this juncture.
Meanwhile, there is no clarity on Rajini’s other film ‘Rana’. The film was launched with Deepika Padukone and Rajini in the lead but due to the superstar’s illness the shoot had to be stopped mid way. While Rajini has recuperated, the fate of the film remains undecided.
