Melbourne: After Liz Hurley returned way too early from her stay in Melbourne with Shane Warne, the star tweeted that she missed her parrot – with no mention of whether she missed Warne or not.

"Home Sweet Home.....family, dogs and parrot ecstatic,” news.com.au quoted her as writing on Twitter after she returned to the UK.

There was no reply from Warne, though.

Hurley had spent just seven days at Warne’s Melbourne mansion and it is rumoured she ended it abruptly thanks to rumours of Warne’s alliance with an Australian porn star, Chloe Conrad, while he was in the early stages of wooing her.

Hurley tweeted on Valentine’s Day, "Remember, love is like a rollercoaster ride - sometimes it’s exhilarating but sometimes u (sic) feel sick and want to get off."

Even when he was seeing her off at the airport, there was no passionate embrace – instead just a simple, almost frosty goodbye.

Hurley returned home to her eight-year-old son Damien and her parrot Ping Pong, who has played a key role in her Twitter-fuelled flirtation with Warne.
