Beat Pakistani artistes with shoes: BJP MLA Sangeet Som

New Delhi: In the wake of Uri attacks in Jammu & Kashmir, MNS on September 23 gave an open ultimatum to all the Pakistani artistes working in India. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena said that all the Pak actors must leave the country within 48 hours, else will be pushed out.

Now, according to CNN News18, BJP MLA Sangeet Som was quoted as saying, “Beat Pakistani artistes with shoes and send them back to Pakistan”.

He even said, “Even animals are better than Pakistani artistes”. Som was quoted as telling the channel, “Pakistani artistes earn in India and back terrorists. They eat in India, earn in India and then support those who kill Indians.

However, Bollywood so far has remained divided over Pakistani artistes ban in the country. MNS even threatened to ban films such as 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Raees' which feature Paki actors.
