Beyonce denies ‘fake baby bump’ rumours

Washington: Beyonce has slammed rumours suggesting that that she is wearing a prosthetic bump in an effort to make her pregnancy revelation ‘more dramatic’.

A spokesperson for the singer told America’s ABC News today that insinuations about the 30-year-old singer donning a prosthetic belly for an interview on Australian television, were ‘stupid, ridiculous and false’, reports the Daily Mail.

The rumours circulated after video footage in her latest interview showed her baby bump fold in on itself, making it look distinctly fake.

During the interview to promote her new album 4, she revealed she is due to give birth in February, adding that she feels ‘grateful’ and ‘blessed’ to be expecting her first child.

Beyonce’s baby bump was first seen at the MTV Awards in August when she dramatically rubbed her highly visible belly on stage.

She re-emerged weeks later wearing a sexy cutout dress with no baby bump in sight.
