New Delhi: Patiala resident Puneet Bansal’s phone hasn’t stopped ringing ever since Amitabh Bachchan gave out his supposed mobile number to a contestant on national television while hosting the popular game show ‘Kaun Bangea Crorepati’.
Big B was asked to give his mobile number in an episode of KBC which was aired on Monday. While Big B did oblige, it seems he gave out a wrong number, a number which belongs to Puneet Bansal. Ever since, Bansal has been bombarded with calls and messages for Big B.
Bansal`s mobile started ringing as soon as Bachchan gave out the first nine digits of the number. So far, he has received more than 10,000 calls which have come not only from India but from across the world.
When a daily contacted him, he informed that he has sent a legal notice to Big B and KBC. "Initially, I was at a loss... But on September 12, when a caller told me he wanted to talk to Amitabh Bachchan and that Big B had given the number during KBC, I understood," said Bansal.
Not sure of what to do, Bansal has now opted not to answer his mobile anymore. Bansal claims that he has received some 2,500 SMSes for the superstar.
We suggest you change your number Mr Bansal.
