Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan, who gave voiceover for Aamir Khan’s film `Lagaan` a decade back, outshined the “perfectionist” star at a bash held recently.
The actor of the millennium turned up in his `Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap` avatar and surprised one and all present there. He stole the show at Khan’s party and even overtook him.
Talking to a daily, an eyewitness revealed, “Aamir had a grand party to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his production house. Naturally the media was present there in huge numbers and Aamir was more than happy at all the attention he was getting. But all hell broke loose when the Big B walked in his Bbuddha character.”
The media covering the special event requested Bachchan to say a few lines from his forthcoming film `Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap` in which the veteran superstar essays a flamboyant character.
“Initially, Bachchan resisted and politely told the media that it was Aamir`s event and he didn`t want to promote his film on that platform. But when the TV crews persisted, he put his hand on Aamir`s shoulder and said, `Bbuddah hoga tera baap!` in his impressive baritone. The media went wild and refused to leave him till he spoke to them at length about the film in details. Everyone forgot about Aamir and Lagaan it was only Bachchan`s voice after that," the eyewitness added.
Big B is 68 and Abhishek’s baap, but he is certainly not a buddah, for he still has all the charm in the world to grab eyeballs!
Are we right Sir!
