Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt’s generosity is not unknown and come any occasion the actor is more than willing to extend his support to the not-so-privileged people of B-town. News has it that Sanju baba is holding an Iftaar party today evening for the children of the technicians of the industry.
The actor would be distributing sweets and gift packets to all those who would be attending the Iftaar party.
Speaking to a daily, President of the Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) Dharmesh Tiwari said, "We have started an initiative called Basera which gives financial help to the technicians of the film industry, including retired workers like ex-dancers, fighters, lightmen, spot boys and their children.”
Further adding, he said, “Sometimes, these include paying the children`s school fees also in the form of cheques. We asked Sanju baba if he could do something this time and he decided to hold an Iftaar party for all the workers and their children. He will be distributing 200 food packets to the technicians and children attending the event. Basera is in its 45th month and we even provide medical facilities to the workers and their children. It was wonderful of Sanju baba to host an Iftaar party for us this year."
