Birthday boy Kamal Haasan’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’

Mumbai: Megastar Kamal Haasan who turned 60 today couldn’t have set a better example for inspiring fellow Indian citizens. The veteran decided to take up Prime Minister’s ‘Clean India Campaign’ task by leading a group of volunteers from Narpani Iyakkam to clean up the Madhambakkam lake. The PM had launched the ‘Clean India Campaign’ or the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday on October 2 and had nominated 8 distinguished personalities and the cast of ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma’ to take up the task of cleaning.
