The dusky beauty with unconventional looks made her presence felt with ‘Bekhudi’, a film that failed to impress the Box Office. But Kajol’s performance certainly didn’t go unnoticed.

Her profound eyes, her magical screen presence and flawless acting talent, helped her create a niche for herself in the industry and soon she went on to deliver performance oriented roles!

As an lovable Punjabi girl Simran in Yash Chopra’s ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ to the jilted lover in thriller ‘Gupt’, Kajol left an indelible impact on the minds of the audiences. Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ gave her the much needed impetus at the Box Office.

Her onscreen pairing with Shah Rukh Khan has given Hindi cinema, one of its most gorgeous jodis.

Married to powerhouse of talent Ajay Devgn, Kajol is a mother to two adorable kids- Daughter Nysa and son Yug.

Kajol was honoured with the Padma Shri in 2011 for her contribution to Indian Cinema.

The very talented actress, who turned 41 today, will soon be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan yet again in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’, which is slated to release on 18 December.
