Bo Derek reveals she voted for Obama

Washington: Bo Derek calls herself ‘independent’ when it comes to political leanings, and says that she had voted for Barack Obama in the 2008 elections.

The actress had campaigned for President George H W Bush and President George W Bush, and endorsed Rudy Giuliani for president in 2007. “People think I’m Republican, I’m independent. I voted for Obama,” she was quoted as saying. She also said that she is not getting swept up in the current elections in the US. “Right now I’m kind of apathetic to what’s going on. I think our country functions pretty well. Certainly will be fine without my contribution,” she said. ANI
