Bob Hoskin doesn`t want a knighthood

London: Bob Hoskin has revealed that he doesn`t want a knighthood.

At the world premiere of his latest film `Made in Dagenham`, in London’s Leicester Square, the 67-year-old actor said he would not know himself if bestowed with the title of `Sir`.

"Imagine waking up Sir Hoskins. I just wouldn`t know myself, I wouldn`t want it," the Daily Express quoted Hoskins as saying.

"Everybody I knew who insisted on being called sir made my life a misery," he added.

The legend`s career has spanned over 35 years during which he bagged a Golden Globe and a BAFTA and also got nominated for a best actor Oscar.
