Bollywood director Subhash Kapoor arrested

New Delhi: Bollywood director Subhash Kapoor has been arrested by the Varsova Police in connection with actress Geetika Tyagi molestation case. The `Jolly LLB` fame filmmaker was produced before the Andheri sessions court and has been sent to a 14-day judicial custody.
Starlet Geetika Tyagi had filed a complaint against the director at the Varsova police station earlier this year alleging that he had tried to rape her two years ago. She also tweeted a link to the video where she was seen slapping Kapoor.
Kapoor had reportedly been booked under the Indian Penal Code sections 354 (outraging a woman`s modesty), 354 A (sexual harassment), 354 B (attempting to disrobe a woman) and 501 (defamation).
In the video named posted by the actress, the filmmaker was seen with his wife and Aurangzeb fame director Atul Sabharwal. They were seen in the midst of an altercation, about the filmmaker having sexually abused the actress. The video also shows Geetika saying that she was pulled in by Kapoor. Atul Sabharwal is seen in the video mediating between the two parties. The video ends dramatically with Geetika slapping the filmmaker.
