Mumbai: Dynastic succession is nothing new to Hindi Cinema. We have had the great Prithvi Raj Kapoor and his three sons- Ranbir Raj (Raj), Shamsher Raj (Shammi) and Balbir Raj (Shashi)- ruling the roost in their respective eras.
Raj’s sons- Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv followed in his footsteps and shouldered the Kapoor legacy in Indian Cinema. The emergence of Karisma, Kareena and Ranbir Kapoor marked the service of the fourth generation from the Kapoor clan to Indian cinema.
Likewise, we have seen members from various other families contribute to the film world which include the Deols, the Bachchans, the Khans and the Chopras etc.
And the coming years will see the emergence of Hindi’s Cinema’s new kids. Here’s taking a look at some of them:
Arjun Kapoor: Son of producer Boney Kapoor, Arjun was inspired by Salman Khan to take up acting as a career. He followd in the footsteps of his uncle Anil Kapoor and ventured into acting with Yash Raj Films’ ‘Ishaqzaade’ and has eventually been able to create a buzz at the Box Office with his latest ‘2 States’.
Tiger Shroff: Son of actor Jackie Shroff and Ayesha, Tiger, originally named Jai, has already made his presence felt. He is making his debut with Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Heropanti’ opposite Kriti Sanon, a debutante. Tiger’s striking resemblance with his father reminds us of the senior Shroff in his early days. With impeccable dancing and stunt performing skills, Tiger may cast a spell like his father.

Harsh Kapoor: Son of actor Anil Kapoor, Harsh has been roped in by Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra for his film ‘Mirza Sahibaan’. Junior Kapoor is all set to join the Kapoor league in the Bollywood which is also home to his sister Sonam and cousin Arjun.
Sooraj Pancholi: Son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, Sooraj made headlines much before his debut film could go on floors because of his alleged involvement with late actress Jiah Khan. The young man will be launched by Salman Khan in the official remake of 1984 blockbuster ‘Hero’. It will be interesting to see if junior Pancholi succeeds in brushing past all the controversies and emerge strong in his acting career.
Armaan Jain: ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’ will see Raj Kapoor’s grandson and Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin Armaan enter Bollywood. Armaan is the son of Raj Kapoor’s daughter Reema Jain.
