New Delhi: Boman Irani – who has been tickling the funny bone of the audiences since his foray into Bollywood - is all set to head for some serious cinema now. “He has signed an international project called Sher Singh Rana, The End of Bandit Queen. The movie is based on the real life of Sher Singh Rana, the man who was accused of assassinating the Bandit Queen, Phoolan Devi and is currently lodged in the Tihar Jail in New Delhi,” a leading daily quoted a source as saying. “Wondering whether this biopic will lead him to achieve more milestones internationally?” the source added. The film is being directed by Muncher Wadia - who had earlier directed him in ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’, in which he had acted alongside choreographer Farah Khan. Here’s wishing Boman the very best for his foray into this new genre of acting!
