Mumbai: Are they dating? After much speculation and denial from both parties, looks like Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh are still very much a couple.
At a recent event, Ranveer threatened to break a fan’s nose after he saw him flirting the actress.
Reportedly, on Saturday, a fan approached the ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ actress at a private screening of a film.
Speaking to the daily, a source revealed, “This guy walked up to Anushka and told her that he had a crush on her when he saw ‘Rab Ne…’. She took it in the right spirit and jokingly askedif he still had a crush on her. The guy hesistantly admitted that he did. Though Anushka was enjoying the chat, Ranveer, sitting beside her got really angry. He told the guy, “Mind your language. She is my girlfriend. I will break your nose.” Anushka’s fan shot back, “My nose is strong enough. I don’t think I can get scared.””
A scuffle was averted due to timely intervention from the onlookers.
So they are dating then? But the big question is, that why have they been denying it vehemently. Clearly they should know that the times have changed and it is okay to be in a relationship and be open about it in the industry.
Interestingly, when contacted, Ranveer’s manager confirmed that he attended the screening, but denied the spat. And what about Ranveer’s claim of Anushka being his girlfriend? Well, that remained unanswered too.
