Brad Pitt offers consolation to suicidal fan during ‘Moneyball’ premiere

Washington: Brad Pitt is said to have offered some kind words of encouragement to a suicidal fan during the question-and-answer session to promote his sports drama ‘Moneyball’.

After the unnamed journalist revealed the inspiring film had helped him deal with a very difficult time in his life, the 47-year-old actor didn’t dwell on the man’s story, but agreed that inspiration was ‘a big part of this film”, adding that films like ‘Moneyball’ “don’t come along very often”.

While speaking at the Sony Studios event in Culver City, California, the’12 Monkeys’ star added the philosophical note about the film, related to the fan’s story.

“You can be down, but then you come back up again, and every failure can lead to success,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
