London: Brad Pitt has revealed that he will quit acting in three years, when he turns 50.
The 47-year-old star suggested that he might move behind the camera when he steps out of the limelight, but he was confident that his days as a leading man were numbered.
“I’ve really enjoyed the producerial [sic] side and getting stories to the plate that may have had a harder time otherwise,” the Daily Mail quoted him as telling 60 Minutes’, an Australian chat show.
When challenged as to what he would do after he quits acting, he jokingly said, “Hell if I know!”
The star also said happiness is overrated and being at peace was a more realistic aim.
“I think happiness is overrated. Sometimes you’re happy, sometimes you’re not.
“There’s too much pressure to be happy.
“I don’t give a s**t. I know I will be happy sometimes and I won’t be at times.
“Being at peace is more of a goal for myself,” he added.
He also said he once found fame ‘discombobulating’.
