British actress Lynda Bellingham dies in her husband's arms

British actress, broadcaster and author, Lynda Bellingham breathed her last on Sunday October 19, after battling with cancer at the age of 66.

New Delhi: British actress, broadcaster and author, Lynda Bellingham breathed her last on Sunday October 19, after battling with cancer at the age of 66.
 
Lynda, passed away last night in her husband's arms, reports suggest. 

She may be best remembered for her role as a mother in the Oxo gravy stock advert between 1983 and 1999. She was a panelist on the ITV lunchtime chat show Loose Women between 2007 and 2011.

Bellingham was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2013, and this later spread to her lungs and liver.

Some of her famous films are  `Confessions of a Driving Instructor`, `Sweeney!` and `Stand Up` among several others.
