Can you really imagine Naseeruddin Shah playing Dumbledore in Harry Potter series?

Karachi: Hold your breath Potterheads as this revelation that actor Naseeruddin Shah was asked to play the role of Albus Dumbledore in the film adaptation of JK Rowling's popular Harry Potter series will knock you off your socks.

In a Twitter interview with a leading daily, the 66-year-old actor said that his agent wanted him to audition for Dumbledore after Richard Harris (who played the character in the first two installments) passed away in 2002, reports the Dawn.

'The Dirty Picture' star further said that he was asked to audition, but he refused.

While this claim has certainly created some frenzy, we can't imagine what Michael Gambon (the actor who played the role in the other installments) would feel about it.
