New York: Late actor Cary Grant’s former Palm Springs retreat has been put on the market for 2.9 million dollars.
According to online real estate database Zillow, the 1.54-acre estate was Grant’s relaxation haven for over 20 years. The six-bedroom home is a replica of a 19th-century Spanish farmhouse built in 1927, an architectural masterpiece that is officially designated a historical landmark. “This rare two story, 6 bedroom / 5.5 Bath residence has 5 fireplaces throughout, Guest suites, Wallace Neff designed Guest Wing, Studio and an abundance of exceptional additional features throughout,” the New York Daily News quoted the home’s listing, handled by Sotheby’s, as stating. “This includes the 40ft ceiling in the great room, second floor master with fireplace, balconies, built-in dressing room and exceptional mountain views,” it read. The layout is open, perfect for entertaining, and there are plenty of windows for natural light. And the actor’s former property is gated and surrounded by lush landscaping, making for an ultra private hideaway. ANI
