With Narendra Modi-led BJP ready for a landslide victory in 2014 LS polls already, let's take a look at the bevy of our Bollywood stars who await their big result today. The stars from celluloid have been seen queing up the way towards their golden chance in politics. Today being the D-day for all such celebs, here's what their report card says so far:

  • Paresh Rawal—BJP
  • The veteran actor contested the elections from Ahemdabad East constituency in Gujarat. Status: Won
  • Raj Babbar—Congress
  • The Bollywood actor contested the LS polls from Ghaziabad on a Congress Ticket. Status: Lost
  • Smriti Irani—BJP
  • The `Tulsi` of small screen has evolved as a head strong politician so far and contested the polls from Congress bastion Amethi opposite Rahul Gandhi. Status: Lost
  • Hema Malini—BJP
  • The elegance personified actress contested the elections from Mathura constituency. Status: Won
  • Vinod Khanna—BJP
  • Although the actor lost out in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections but now he has again taken it upon himself and contested the elections from Gurdaspur seat. Status: Won
  • Kirron Kher—BJP
  • The dimpled `mommy` of B-Town is known to have played the role of mother to many actors on screen, this time she decided to enter politics in a big way. The senior actress contested from the Chandigarh seat. Status: Won
  • Gul Panag—AAP
  • This B-Town sizzler geared up to face Kirron Kher from Chandigarh constituency too. She will also fight it out with Congress`s Pawan Kumar Bansal. Status: Lost
  • Shatrughan Sinha—BJP
  • The veteran actor was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha in 2009. At present he contested from Patna Sahib constituency. Status: Won
  • Rakhi Sawant—Independent
  • The `item girl` of Bollywood will this time be seen in a completely different avatar. The loud-mouth has tried her luck as an independent candidate from Mumbai North-West constituency. Status: Lost
  • Kamal Rashid Khan—Samajwadi Party
  • One of the most controversial celebrities in tinsel town, KRK (as he is also known as) contested the elections from Mumbai North-West seat giving tough competition to fellow actor Rakhi Sawant. Status: Lost
  • Manoj Tiwari — BJP
  • The star of Bhojpuri film industry is not new in politics. He contested the 2009 polls as well. This time the actor-turned-politician contested from North-East Delhi seat. Status: Won
  • Ravi Kishan Shukla—Congress
  • Another big name from the Bhojpuri film industry, Ravi Kishan too will be seen in a new role this time. The actor has previously done many Hindi films as well. He contested the polls from Jaunpur contituency. Status: Lost
  • Prakash Jha—Janta Dal(U)
  • The ace filmmaker tried his luck in the polls this time and contested from Bettiah seat in Bihar. Status: Lost
  • Mahesh Manjrekar—MNS
  • This directot-actor got a ticket from MNS this time and stood up from the Mumbai North-West constituency. Status: Lost
  • Nagma—Congress
  • This beautiful South actress who tried her luck in many Hindi films as well has contested the election from Meerut seat. Status: Lost
  • Bappi Lahiri—BJP
  • The veteran music composer cum singer of B-Town Bappi Lahiri is making his debut this time from Sreerampore constituency, Hooghly, Kolkata. Status: Lost
  • Babul Supriyo—BJP
  • Once famous singer Babul Supriyo is fighting it out from Asansol district in West Bengal. Status: Won
  • Moon Moon Sen—TMC
  • The Bengali beauty who floored everyone in the Hindi film industry alike is making her debut in politics from Bankura seat in West Bengal. Status: Won
  • Biswajeet Ranjit Chatterjee—TMC
  • The classic Bengali actor who acted in many Bollywood films contested from the New Delhi constituency this time. Status: Lost
  • Dev —TMC
  • This Bengali actor contested the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections from Ghatal in West Midnapore in West Bengal. Status: Won
