Celebrities to support Lindsay Lohan

Los Angeles: Hollywood celebrities are coming forward to support actress-singer Lindsay Lohan in her legal turmoil.

Musician Mary J. Blige, who is attending the 63rd Cannes Film Festival, said Lohan was very talented and it was sad she was going through torture at this young age, reports accesshollywood.com.

"She’s a very talented young lady, so it’s got to be torture for her right now, you know," she said.

Actress Paris Hilton, who has been convicted for violating her probation and has spent several weeks in jail in 2007, said: "I wish her the best. I wish everyone the best in life and I hope she is ok."

Lohan, 23, was due in court for a progress report on her probation stemming from two arrests in 2007 for driving under the influence of liquor. She is on bail and is to appear in court next week.
