Chaz Bono calls off engagement with longtime partner

London: Chaz Bono and his fiancee Jennifer Elia have called off their engagement after being together for 12 years.

Bono’s spokesperson Howard Bragman has confirmed reports of their split. “They leave this relationship with great love, respect and affection toward one another,” the Daily Mail quoted Bragman as saying. “No further amplification will be forthcoming and they ask that you respect their privacy at this time.’ “Thanks for your concern about our separation,” Bono posted on his Twitter page. “I’m doing fine, and we remain on good terms with nothing but respect and affection 4 each other,” he wrote. The news comes just a month after the transgender son of pop goddess Cher popped the question to Elia during his one-hour TV-show special ‘Being Chaz’, which aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network. ANI
