London: Cheryl Cole has revealed her crush on Prince Harry and even asked him to call her up for a date.
The singer, who stood next to the Queen in front of millions of viewers at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, admitted on a TV chat show said that she would not rule out the Prince as a potential boyfriend.
“I would consider him,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying on the show.
Looking stunning in a 620-pound skin-tight monochrome Alexander McQueen outfit, the Girls Aloud star admitted chatting with Harry at the party after the Jubilee Concert.
On being urged by the host to get hitched to the prince, claiming: “Oh please do it, it would be the best wedding ever.”
The 28-year-old flirtatiously made a telephone hand gesture to Harry, 27, and mouthed: “Call me.”
Also giggling along at the joke was American pop star Katy Perry, a fellow guest on the talk show, who described Harry as a “hot ginger”.
It is not the first time Cheryl and the young royal have been linked romantically.
Harry was said to have revealed his affection for Cole when he told then ‘X Factor’ winner Joe Mc Elderry in 2009 that he was “so jealous that you got to spend weeks with Cheryl”.
The former ‘X Factor’ judge, when asked by a fan in a Q&A session for a magazine whether she knew that Harry “fancies you”, admitted: “I do.”
