Chris Tucker has sold his Los Angeles mansion for USD 2.1 million, double the price he paid for it in 1996.

Los Angeles: ‘Rush Hour’ actor Chris Tucker has sold his Los Angeles mansion for USD 2.1 million, double the price he paid for it in 1996.
The `Silver Linings Playbook` star made a profit of about USD 1 million after selling his palatial home in LA, California, reported TMZ Online. Tucker put the pad on the market two years ago, but has had a long wait to find the right buyer for the home. The star`s lavish 6,399 square foot mansion boasts five bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, a pool, a spa, high ceilings, French doors and balconies overlooking sunny LA. The 41-year-old comedian has faced numerous legal woes in recent years with the IRS filing a lien against the star for USD 11.5 million in unpaid taxes in July 2010. The government body alleges Tucker failed to pay federal taxes in 2001 - the same year he reportedly earned USD 20 million to star alongside Jackie Chan in ‘Rush Hour 2’. PTI
