Los Angeles: Veteran actor Christopher Plummer may drop dead on stage or on the set but doesn`t ever plan to retire. The actor became the oldest star to win an Oscar when he picked up the Best Supporting Actor prize for his role in `Beginners` at the age of 82 last night, and he said that he will never retire and plans to continue for at least another decade, reported a website.
"It has recharged me and I hope I can do it for another 10 years at least. I`m going to drop dead wherever I am, on stage or on the set. We don`t retire in our profession, thank god," he said. The Canadian actor plays an elderly man who comes out as gay in later life in the film. PTI
