College made Emma Watson realise she was famous

Emma Waston realised she was famous only when she enrolled in Brown University.

Los Angeles: Former `Harry Potter` star Emma Waston realised she was famous only when she enrolled in Brown University.
The 23-year-old actress said she led a protected life while working on the boy wizard franchise but paparazzi started chasing her once she started attending the college. "I think, in a way, I was very protected during Harry Potter because I was working all the time. I would get in the car, go to the studio, and go home," she told Teen Vogue. Watson, who became famous at the age of six by playing the character of Hermione Granger in Potter movies, said she had to deal with privacy issues for the first time while studying. "It sounds stupid, or completely unbelievable, but that was when I realised that I was famous," she said. Watson says despite being in the limelight since childhood, she finds it difficult to deal with fame. "There are still days when I deal with [fame] horribly and there are days when I deal with it really well," she told the fashion magazine. PTI
