Creator of ‘Only Fools and Horses,’ John Sullivan dead

Los Angeles: He was suffering from viral pneumonia, The Guardian quoted a BBC report as announcing.

Sir David Jason, who played Del Boy in the ‘Only Fools and Horses’, said he was "devastated" over the loss of his friend.

"We have lost our country`s greatest comedy writer, but he leaves us a great legacy, the gift of laughter. My thoughts at this time are with his lovely family," Jason said.

"The sudden death of John Sullivan has deprived the world of television comedy of its greatest exponent," Gareth Gwenlan, the show’s producer, added.
