Criticism `cuts like a knife`, admits Kylie

London: Pop star Kylie Minogue says she can`t take criticism and feels dejected when she reads poor reviews of her songs.

"It cuts like a knife if I read a bad review. But in the end, how the album in received in the press won`t make any difference to me - I`d still come back," said Minogue. Contactmusic.com reports that the 42-year-old Australian singer, whose new album "Aphrodite" hit the top of the British charts Sunday, says she gives more importance to her listeners` reviews and response. "A few thousand people in a room sharing two or three hours together - when all the other stuff gets too complex to understand, that`s a really good place to bring it back to," she said. IANS
