DA launches investigation into LiLo’s criminal battery case
London: If reports are to be believed then District Attorney office is launching an investigation into the allegations that Lindsay Lohan attacked a Betty Ford employee.
Lohan is already set to stand trial for her grand theft charge after turning down a plea deal.
In December rehab worker Dawn Holland filed a complaint against the 24-year-old, alleging that the actress had assaulted during her court-ordered stay at the clinic, but the ‘Mean Girls’ star claimed that Holland touched her first.
Investigators are interviewing witnesses to find out who in fact was “the aggressor” during the alleged attack, which apparently left Holland with a sprained arm, reports the Daily Mail.
The District Attorney’s office is investigating the incident despite that Holland later retracted her allegations and withdrew her criminal complaint against Lohan.
