London: Daniel Craig has been lobbying movie bosses to make sure Skyfall director Sam Mendes signs for at least one more Bond.
`American Beauty` director Mendes has already plotted out aspects of the next Bond film with his leading man. It could be on screen as early as November 2014. Craig, 44, has gone public in an effort to pressure Bond franchise boss Barbara Broccoli to re-sign Mendes. “If Sam was to do the next one, which would be great, we have set up an awful lot of ideas and we have still got other things to play around with,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying. “I love working with him. He allows me to relax and get on with my job,” he said. “Daniel has made it very clear that Sam should direct the next film,” a movie source at MGM told the publication. “He and Sam have been plotting out story ideas but no executive has given them a yes yet,” the source said.
