According to police, a 17-year-old student at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls gave birth to a child this week and disposed of the body at the school, located 25 miles (40 km) south of Johannesburg. Police are not sure if the newborn was killed or died of natural causes. "Yes, the girl gave birth to the baby at the school, but we can’t confirm what happened to it. A case of concealment of death is being investigated," News.com.au quoted police captain Shado Mashobane as telling local daily The Times.
