Deepika Padukone to attend celebrity badminton league event?

New Delhi; Bollywood is taking huge interest in sports these days. Besides producing biopics on sports personalities, a number of people from the fraternity are busy promoting their sports franchises. After Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor it's now Deepika Padukone's turn to show her love for sports.

According to reports, the actress has been invited as one of the special guests at an event of a soon-to-start celebrity badminton league. Deepika's association with the sport has been quite an old one as her father Prakash Padukone was an international-level badminton player. The dusky beauty has reportedly agreed to be a part of the event.

Besides Deepika, the organisers have also invited ace badminton player Pullela Gopichand and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar for the special event. The league, which is expected to be a star-studded event will also feature several movie stars from the south.
