Did Amitabh Bachchan aim to take a dig at tear jerking Aamir Khan?
We can’t help but doubt if Big B too would opt to shed some tears during KBC`s sixth season to invoke the emotions of the audience much like Aamir Khan in `Satyamev Jayate`.

New Delhi: The sixth season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is due to hit the TV screens very soon with Amitabh Bachchan as its host once again. While the emotive biopics of the contestants that are being aired in the advertisements of the show seem to have a strange resemblance to the emotional content of Aamir Khan’s humanitarian show ‘Satyamev Jayate’, we can’t help but doubt if Big B too would opt for some tear-jerking to invoke the emotions of the audience and hence the TRPs.
But when contacted, Amitabh Bachchan blatantly dismissed all such expectations from him as a host and said, “I am the host. And I don’t think that it suits a host to shed tears like that”. Ah! But that in no way means that he is not affected by the life stories of his contestants. “Dil bhar aata hai. And sometimes I think that on listening to these stories I am feeling more pain than the contestants,” he added.
So does that imply that Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan failed to prove a good host? Well, if we go by what Big B has stated, then it is a subtle hint! Perhaps, Aamir has some lesson to learn from the megastar for the next series of his TV show.
