Did Ness Wadia slap Preity Zinta at a party?

Zee Media Bureau/Anindita Dev New Delhi: Even as the high-profile case of Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia has captured the imagination of the nation, it is being reported that the actress was once slapped by the businessman at a party.Former love-birds Zinta and Wadia came out in public with their relationship in the year 2005, and made several heads turn by appearing almost in all public events and places together. But after five-years of dating both of them ended their relation in the year 2009. In what might come as a rude shock to many, as per reports, Ness had raised his hand against Preity at a party in 2009 and soon after that rumours of their split surfaced. However none of them had confirmed it at that point of time. Later the 39 year-old actress confirmed their separation in an interview and maintained that they were still friends. Now the duo are back in news after Preity filed a complaint against her former boyfriend and industrialist Ness. The Bollywood actor has filed a police complaint on Thursday night stating that she was publicly humiliated by her former boyfriend during an Indian Premier League match on May 30 at the Wankhede stadium in South Mumbai. The match was between Chennai Super Kings and Kings X1 Punjab. She has charged him for harassment and humiliation among other things. According to reports published in a leading daily, the cops have written to Preity`s lawyer, asking her to be present at the Marine Drive police station and record the statement. Also, as per reports, Ness will be taken in for questioning only after the 39-year-old actress is done with re-recording of her statement. The actress is currently out of the country and will give her statement in detail once she is back.
