Dita Von Teese immortalised on Virgin Atlantic plane

London: Dita Von Teese has been immortalised on a Virgin Atlantic plane to celebrate ten years of direct flights between London and Las Vegas.

The burlesque star posed with Sir Richard Branson on the wings of 747-400 aircraft at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

The pair unveiled a large picture of Von Teese in a red swimsuit holding a British flag emblazoned across the plane to mark the airline’s successful decade.

Before her shoot with the airline boss, Von Teese, 37, updated string of posts on Twitter.

"Headed out to Las Vegas today. Sir Richard is in charge, so I’m sure it’s going to be fun. Stay tuned!” the Daily Star quoted her as saying in a Tweet.

She added: "I’ve never actually walked on the wing of an airplane before... London to Vegas Virgin plane now has me as the flying lady painted on the side."
