Drug-sniffing dogs found crystal meth in Britney Spears’ home, says ex manager

Britney Spears’ self proclaimed former manager Sam Lutfi has claimed that drug-sniffing dogs found a secret stash of crystal meth in the singer’s house during the dark months before her infamous meltdown.

New York: Britney Spears’ self proclaimed former manager Sam Lutfi has claimed that drug-sniffing dogs found a secret stash of crystal meth in the singer’s house during the dark months before her infamous meltdown.
According to a court filing, Lutfi, who is now suing Spears and her parents for defamation, said that he unleashed the drug-hunting hounds in her home on June 13, 2007, and “they found a cache of crystal methedrine, which was destroyed,” the New York Daily News reported. The bombshell allegation surfaced in Lutfi’s uphill battle to have Spears testify at his defamation trial slated to start next week. Spears, 30, is now under a successful court-ordered conservatorship run by her dad Jamie Spears and her fiance Jason Trawick, and her handlers claims she’s too incompetent to take the stand. Lutfi argues her testimony is necessary to show he was indeed her manager in late 2007 and didn’t leave her a drug addled mess before she was strapped to a gurney and placed on two separate involuntary psychiatric holds in January 2008, as her parents have claimed. In his docs, Lutfi says that he believes testimony from the ‘Hold It Against Me’ singer would show he tried to keep her clean and improve her relationships with her mom and dad. Lutfi alleges that the drug dogs were brought in as a condition of their management agreement and that the canines found “hot spots of drug residue” in the carpeting where her toddler sons played during visits. The self-styled manager claims he covered up the drug debris by shampooing and eventually replacing the carpet. ANI
