London: Singer Ed Sheeran took some time off from his busy schedule to visit a nine-year-old fan and her family at the children's ward of Epsom Hospital in Surrey.
The 25-year-old musician visited the hospital to see Melody Driscoll, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Retts Syndrome and gifted her a pink guitar, reported Femalefirst.
The guitar also had Sheeran's signature on it.
His visit came after Driscoll's family and Croydon Police launched a campaign to bring her face to face with the singer.
This is not the first time Sheeran, who is currently on a hiatus from music, has done his bit for charity. He previously gave his "whole wardrobe" to charity shops in his hometown of Framlingham, Suffolk.
